Alright, so I know we're all big fans of the Stones (Well, most of us). My question to you is, how much do you really listen to them? It seems I come across people who claim to be heavily into the band but say things like "I havn't listened to them in about 3 months". I'm not doubting that they aren't into the band, I just can't believe they can go that long without listening to them.
For me, I probably average playing about 2 full albums a week. Right now I'm really into "Oh No Not You Again" and I've been playing that track at least once a day for the past week or so.
I listen to them everyday. When at home to my cd's (mostly Some Girls at the moment) or boots on my stereo or pc. My mp3 player is packed with Stones stuff also.
Can't remember the last time I didn't listen to them for two months. Sometimes I listen to another band a lot (the Black Crowes boots for example), but the Stones always seem to be the centre of my musical focus.
depends on the "season" - while on tour, I listen to the current shows quite a bit usually, which then skews things.
At more normal times, I would say I listen to the Stones probably 3-6 hours a week, max. That out of a music listening time of probably 30 hours a week, give or take.
I listen to about 2-4 full albums a day. Half Stones, half different artists. You can listen to records, while doing just about anything. Apart from reading "tough" litterature. Doing the dishes, doing workout, driving car, fighting with the neighbour, fishing salmon, etc.

mine too! and yea every day is right...currently I've been addicted to the Handsome Girls boot.
I even have the Ladies & Gents video on my iPod....great for traveling
Well my mp3 player had ABB in since the day I got it, and now that I 've put other stuff in it (no Stones since yesterday), I found myself today listening to Steel Wheels and Voodoo Lounge! Oh, and yesterday I fell asleep to the Buenos Aires concert! Is it going to be another broadcast tomorrow?
Every day - just had 'Sticky Digits' cranked last night, damn what a masterpiece!! Sticky might just be the best of them all. . . IMO. Maybe 'Some Girls' tonight. . . .
I use a program called audioscrobbler which tracks my listening habits with iTunes. Here are the results since last sepmtember:
1 The Rolling Stones 1439 2 Ryan Adams 1279 3 Buckcherry 513 4 U2 341 5 Van Halen 229 6 The Beatles 227 7 Collective Soul 184 8 John Mellencamp 173 9 matchbox twenty 164 10 Third Eye Blind 145
As you can see, the Stones have a commanding lead. Mick Jagger comes in at 11th.
Errrrr don't listen much but is that Keith doin' that ghost like "yeeaahh" at 1.43 on She Saw Me Coming...and what about that nasty short jab of guitar at 2.02....left channel.....Dirty Stuff!!!

SNOB!
Actually I played my Hot Rocks album on my old record player recently. It plays everything a little too fast. Gimme Shelter sounds amazing like that.
I listen to them everyday though. At least one album. I listened to Main Offender twice yesterday for some reason. But today I'm bad, the only thing I brought with me today is Weezer's green album. Hash Pipe rocks.
My musical tastes are pretty eclectic so I don'tlisten to them every single day. It really depends on my mood. I tend to listen to them more often than not when I'm figuring out guitar bits or need a shot of Keith's rockin' rythm to wake me up.

Not me, I have not had the good fortune to be the recipient of any such charm that I can recall. Perhaps you were charming someone on the other forum you frequent www.ILGP.com aka I Love Gay Porn.

??
Sounds like a dig...but I'm not gonna bite. I'm proud of having my extensive collection at my fingertips all the time. To each his own.

At least you confirmed that it was a dig. I've done a lot of research on this and I'm confident that the quality of my mp3s are at least 95% of the quality of the source audio. Besides, it's rock n roll, not Mozart.
