rolling stones make their greatest world tour ever and the question is if bigger bang will be the last tour of the group. I read in a magazine that it is possible to do another studio album, what about another tour?
i think the next album studio will be the best ever, with a come back of mick taylor and bill wyman on a song. it'll be a perfect blues album, and the last song'll be a chuck berry's song .
during the world tour 2008-2009, they'll sure win over 500 million dollards !

This is the last big tour. IMHO of course. I hope I'm wrong, but something tells me I'm not.
I think this is the last big tour. I still can see them playing in small venues though. I think the entire get-up with the Oversized Stadium setups will be one of the past.
In 6 years from now it will be the 50th anniversary of the band. NOBODY has done that before and if you think Mick won't ca$h in on it your crazy. There will be a 50th year tour. The Stone love to do what nobody has done and that will be it... IMO. After this tour (and this tour will be going on the better part of this year) there will be a few years off, possibly more live or best of or rarities released and then just around late 2010 a new album in the works, 2011 its release and 2012 marks 50 years and the big SEE YA tour! Think about it, 6 years aint that long from now.
They have got the touring thing down to a science...none of the band are doing anything physical other than playing on stage.
The amount of effort on their part to play a theatre is the same amount of effort to play a stadium (other than Jagger wandering an extra 50 feet to the left and right) so if they are going to do another run it will definitely include the $$$$, the stadiums and arenas and another good cleansing of our bank accounts and 401K plans.
If Keith's walking, their touring...and the last I heard, he'll be the last one left with the Cocaroches (spelled it wrong...but WTF).
The Stones will be around and touring for many years yet but Mick Taylor will never play with them again not live or on a CD. Also highly doubt Bill Wyman will either.

great career moves by these two morons huh, you just have to laugh
They'll keep on touring. But I would love to see the attention shifted from making as much $ as possible to taking care of their musical legacy. Taking care off DECENT live and rarities releases and maybe tone the stadium live thing down a bit. They've out toured everyone by now, what's left to prove? Legacy, I say.
yes, Mick Taylor made the stupidest career move in the rock history. And Bill also. I am a big fan of Wyman. i think he is the greatest bassist ever and i am very angry that he left the group. He said that he left the group because steel wheels/urban jungle tour was the best thing done the group until then. But the years that followed Stones made much more things, and gave their fans more excellent and great record work and live performances. Finally i don't want to believe that we will no see the group live next years.
Bob05 that picture made me laugh a little to loud at the office, great one :-)
A lot of people here think that it is the last big one but somehow i don't see a smaller sized tour for the stones happen. Jagger will probably be to frustrated if he thinks of how much they COULD have made if they made it a bigger tour :-)
