hard to deliver a show in a crowd that size, where the spectacle of the event is always likely to exceed the substance - but they delivered, in style

Maybe its the euphoria of the sheer novelty of watching the show live on the web, but as far as Stones' live concert broadcasts go, that was one of the great performances - deserves to be mentioned almost in the same breath as Buenos Aires '98 and Tokyo '90

A fantastic event and great to see them putting on such a good show. The whole band were on fire.

Hope the whole night passed off without incident for everyone who was there

Hmmm... I can't consider this statement as something "new" or "revealing". The boys have nothing to prove. They are simply the best live act in this planet. BY FAR. During an "on" night, they are stellar. During an "off" night, they are still decent. Noone comes close!

Great, Great Show. Thanks Mick, Keith and Charlie. My favorites were : JJF, MR, Rain, Rough Justice, SFD,SMU,BS, YCAGWYW and Satisfaction. And for the first time MU, with audience fully . I could not estimate the crowd. More than 1 Million. Found it all ages with some beautiful girls. Keith dashed out some his goddam solos.Thanks boys. You come a long way and that event should be immensely rewarding.

This will go down as one of the most exciting shows they've ever done.

Oh, yeahhh???. In Hyde Park (1969) the crowd started to dance only during SFTD. So i suppose the Stones were unable to move the audiences in 1969, too... Don't be so pathetic gaigai, don't be gaigante9...

OK, I recorded the audio from XM direct to DVD. I am now ripping that audio into .wav files to transfer to cd.

Now, Im missing JJF since XM came in on IORR. Then they flashed back to MR again in the middle of Keith's set but I think they played the rest of the show from there (I was watching AOL at that point) so I should have everything except JJF.

I should have a pretty good audio recording on cd within the hour. I will post the tracks in alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.m ASAP!
