At the superbowl tonight I was explaining to a U2 fan that the Stones were the first band not to use any "back round music" durring the superbowl performance. He too this as lip sync. I explained to him, no, back round music to help the band. He refused.

I them explained to him that U2 also has "other" band member behind the stage or under the stage to help with sound. He nearly througha fit and said that was not possiable. It was the 4 of them and that was it.

My question is why do U2 suck? It drives me mad!!!

By the way does anyone have proof that they had no "musical help?" I need to e-mail it to my friend.

Well in fact they don't use backup musicians...

BUT they use sequencers which is run by some guy who's name I can't remember right now.

shows how ridiculously obsessive some people are. The Stones play the Superbowl and immediately afterwards someone has to start the one millionth thread on this board about how they cant stand U2

I have never figured out why so many Stonesfans feel threatened by U2.

I love both bands....

One guy acts strangely and this of course poses the question "why do U2 fans suck?"
