Maybe the producers couldn't get the rights.

i heard the stones answering a question on whether they had seen it etc. they seemed to give it a blessing of sorts along with a few jokes on brian. ronnie mentioned ' oh yeh me in a blonde wig'. maybe u heard on rs.com. having seen it myself i hated it. every moment. no stones music. very uptight. trying to fit in the odd risque shot, the bit of glamour, the out of control, the da da da. but still worth a rent, just to see people pretend to be a stone or one of the entourage, and they are mostly represented, is fun. i guess. but couldnt watch it again. know the story. better to watch the many great clips of the man doing (or just about doing) what he loved. The film might be of use to brand new fans who havent read much on him, but can have a 90min run thru.

Saw the trailer. Looked fairly bush league to me.

I saw it on a plane and was glad i didn't waste my time and money going to see it at a cinema.
