Without any doubt Shes So Cold, simply it does not work live, there are songs better live than studio: Oh No Not You Again is a very good example, but Shes So Cold it sounds horrible...

Shattered gets worse with every tour, too.

anyway....i thought it was a real gem when they played it at roseland on'02....wish they would do more like it sometime.

My vote goes to Sway. All they achieved by playing this song is that they showed how much a "different" band they have become (I say "different", because if I say "dreadfull" I will get banned by BV...).

yeah shattered seen better days...anyway i love get off of my cloud but i don't like too this tour version. the problem with that to me is that is such an hard song to sing!

Shattered has never worked.
In fact, I don't reckon there's a version when Mick hasn't forgotten the words!!
Why is this song so popular ??? Average song IMO.

Sway should be kept to the studio, or to when they get a guest guitarist up on stage.

Shattered and She So COld- probably the two most OVERRATED STones songs of all time.

I didn't like Shattered when it came out. Along with Miss YOu it was played a zillion times on the radio all summer of 1978. Shadoobee

The only thing that makes Shattered worse than This Place Is Empty and The Worst is that we know Shattered is a good song, but for some reason they hang on to a lousy version for this tour.

Stop complaining. I saw Shattered in Denver on Thanksgiving Night and it was awesome. Did any of you complainers actually see the show.........

I actually think Mick found a vocal edge on Shattered which he didn't have on previous tours. I enjoyed the boot versions I've heard and hope they'll play it when I'll be there.

YGMR will always win this contest so long as it ever makes a tour's setlist. horrid, horrid song.

I like most of the versions of She's So Cold I've heard from this tour. I'd say Infamy is the worst. Bad studio song, even worse live version. I like The Worst in the studio but it wasn't performed that well in '05 in my opinion. Shattered never works live, at least not when I saw it in Memphis, and Miss You needs to be taken out to pasture and shot.

No I don't like to complain It's not the greatest live song, that's all I wanted to say. If I had been there, Montrealsuperfan, I would have loved every single second of the song (whichever song), that's for sure.

I think She's So Cold is one of the best live songs they've done this tour. Its way better live than on the album.

i saw shattered at the hollywood bowl on 11-8.......

they have definitely slowed this one down for this tour. i found the very deliberate beat to be enjoyable.

some of the other comments on this thread really have me scratching my head.

infamy is a wonderful song in the studio.....not the greatest live i agree.

you got me rocking is a great song!!! should they include it in every concert???? no way!!!! but don't say it sucks just because the stones seem to like it more than you do.

it is a bit too bad that songs like miss you and htw....etc.etc...get played every night. if they only played them every so often and allowed other gems to make their way into the setlist...these classics would be treasured and enjoyed when they were played instead of the "oh no not that one again" attitude of the people around here.

they stopped playing sympathy after the 75 tour....until steel wheels in 89.....when the crowd heard those fist few chords they went wild with excitement......that's the way it should be....now though this and others have been played to death. it's not that they aren't great songs.....it's just alot of us want to hear others as well.

Shattered never worked live? In my opinion it was the highlight of most 1978 and 1981 shows, and the version of Hampton, December 18, 1981 still is in my top 5 list of best ever live tracks by the Stones.

Not that many songs this tour have I heard that are actually "bad"... but there's a few:

The Worst
Infamy

are in a class by themselves.

i think some songs sound worse than other because they bounce around the stadiums and arenas like "cloud" "infamy" - they seem to echo a lot for some reason.

"she's so cold" "shattered" and "miss you" are all too fast live - its the subtle nuances in the studio versions that make them so good - they get lost live.

We'll all never agree which is OK.

But IMHO, if I had two songs to hear live from Some Girls it would be Respectable and Whip OCmes Down (not Shattered & Miss You). As far as Emotional Rescue goes- the only two songs I like on that are Indian Girl and All About You- great songs but slow for a live performance.

i think Shaterred is very good live, another song that does not work live is You Got Me Rocking, it is just horrible, i had hear this one since Voodoo Lounge...and that album has better songs.
