"Hide Your Love" would have been a better fit on Exile..

It has more of that vibe than a Goats Head vibe. Mick, Nicky, or Stu on piano? Nice lead by MT.

I just love that track. Haven't been able to get enough of it lately.

Agreed that it's a slice of the "Exile" thing dropped into the (equally strange, actually) world of "Goat's Head."

An added thought on "Hide Your Love:"

Listening to it makes me wish even more that the Stones had left the piano/vocals/handclaps version of "Tumbling Dice" that's used on "Rarities" intact. Cutting it with the onstage half just dilutes it.

If they had let it be, with maybe a little guitar and harp, it could have been akin to "Hide."

I have a 5 to 10 minute recording of the Stones rehearsing this number from
back in 1973. Would have loved to heard it performed LIVE - too bad!!
