I could never understand why they didn't open with this. It has the signature classic opening riff (Keith should do it) and the perfect lyrical hook to get things going. Wierd how it was second in 1981 and now.

Not as rough&tumble as in '81 (what is?) - but an improvement over the piano-driven B2B version - probably mostly oweing to the better sound mix rather than actual performance....

I loved Sway...you almost can hear the tension...Lets Spend...I think is to much on the automatic pilot!Louder vocals-louder guitars-are in need!!!

I know this is a very minority opinion, but much as I love the original studio LSTNT, it has never sounded right live to me. The organ drone, Brian Wilson-type production touches during the breakdown, & effervescent lift of the original just don't translate live imo.

it's a good argument, John R....I think the same argument could easily be applied to that song's 45 flipside, Ruby Tuesday, too - an "studio" song that loses much of it's majesty in a live setting....

The 82 Rotterdam..and the 82 london versions sounds pretty hungry to me..thought.
