Why do you call him a moron ? The keyboardist has always been a vital part of the Stones lineup. As for being a Stone or not... ever notice that they ALL take a bow together ?? That's because on stage they are all "the Rolling Stones".

I'm sure if it bothered Mick it wouldn't keep happening. I doubt Chuck has any delusions that he's anything more than a hired musician.

Only if you say so.........

Why is it so hard to admit that Chuck has a huge influence on the setlist? He makes them, faxes them to Mick, who makes or doesn't makes adjustments, then Keith adds his songs and that's it. It's propably not the way you want it to be, but that's how it's done. T&A is right.

I'm quite sick of all the nasty things people say on this board about Chuck,Ronnie and Blondie. I would just like to say a big cyber @#$%& you to all of you, I doubt whether I will ever hear a note of all the great music you are making you boring dicks.

There got that off my chest

HMMM...MAYBE CHUCK, RONNIE & BLONDIE SHOULD FORM A SUPERGROUP ALA' CREAM TO APPEASE THEIR FANBASE...

Re: chuck?

When Mick and Keith can't remember how an old song goes they rely on Chuck. He has kept a diary of every single song the Stones have played with him. Have you not noticed that he is an integral part of the band that is the show that is The Rolling Stones. Do you think that just anyone could compliment the Stones shows. You may also have noticed that all the performers take a bow Lisa, Bernard, Blondie, and the rest. I think calling Chuck a moron no doubt reflects your lack of knowledge of what is actually taking place when the Stones put on a show.

Re: chuck?

what's actually going on when they put on a show is obvious...they are no longer capable of getting up there and playing songs that they wrote themselves without having some interloper guide them along like a blindman...geez...even cream could pull off 2 and half hours with just the 3 of them and ginger baker is about 70 years old...and i hate eric clapton.

Chuck does make-up the setlist, yes mick certainly could strike down something, but the point of the post was to have Chuck convince Mick to play those songs, which he is in position to do.

Re: chuck?

Well, at least Chuck doesn't go on the middle of the stage and holds around Mick like Billy Preston did.....

Re: chuck?

Yeah right, Chuck makes the setlist. In fact, Chuck and Tim Ries gather and decides on 80% of set list. Lisa gets the remaining 15% and Ronnie adds his 5%.

ehhh...i guess i just want to see them get up and play like they did at their press conference this past spring...i know they could do it if they cared to...it's only rock and roll indeed...
