Okay, but please...

I think the first 3 shows of the 2nd leg of ABB have been better than expected.
But there is still something to improve:

1. Out Of Control should be back in the set, it shows that they could create a warhorse in the autumn years of their career (the same's to say about Love Is Strong). After it was such a crowd-pleaser during the European BtB leg, I never understood why it didn't survive after the NS tour.

2. Paint It Black should be played on every show instead of Tumblin' Dice.
It just makes the people wild and is a better crowd-pleaser than Tumblin' Dice, which has a nice groove, but was played on nearly every show since 1972.
Never understood why the Stones consider TD as such a great live song.
I think most of the audience would rather hear Under My Thumb, Lady Jane or Paint It Black than this one EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!

3. They should do at least one more ABB song like It Won't Take Long, Look What The Cat Dragged In, Drivin' Too Fast or Sweet Neocon (could be a nice gem with all the drums and harp in it).

4. @#$%& the cover songs. Too many own songs. Perhaps That's How Strong My Love Is, Just My Imagination, Like A Rolling Stone or Mr. Pitiful occasionally.
But after 3 shows, I think they've checked it.

5. Gimmie Shelter or Midnight Rambler every night, and Street Fighting man every second night instead of Brown Sugar.

I'm with nikkibong and cannot imagine a Stones show without Tumbling Dice...I can imagine leaving out Brown Sugar or Start Me Up though!

Count me in as another Tumbling fan. Can't imagine a show without it, it just captures that early 70's feel beautifully and always sounds good. Other than that good suggestions. I too like Out Of Control and it was really good in Ottawa.

take out smu in favor of sfm.

driving too fast could be a really smokin song played live

tumblin dice is like ramber -- should always be in the set.

i'd like miss you to be gone for good... but i can't imagine that happening.

I agree with all but 4 and like the idea of exchanging smu with sfm. AND, this is not too much to expect

I really don't see your point about the cover songs. What should they play? They should @#$%& the covers, whilst too many own songs?

Yes, people, we've made it here. Someone suggesting they should skip Brown Sugar (pleaaaassse) is all we haven't had yet.

I also think most of the audiance would rather hear Lady Jane than Tumbling Dice.

(WTF?)

I think the setlist is fine as is, I'd just like to a see a little more variety from time to time.

Agree the setlist is good they are changing things around some this leg of the tour and Im sure there will be a few more suprises soon. Also I agree don't play cover songs. They have way too many songs of there own to choose from and no matter what you will always walk away from a Stones show saying what they did'nt play which I can understand with all they have to choose from. So they need to do as many of there own as possible and not bother with cover songs.

Stop pick on the covers.

There's nothing wrong with the covers as such - just that it would be much preferable if they delved deeper into their own very large pot of songs.

you people really need to list the shows you're going to be at in your posts
so that the Stones can deliver these sets you're ordering to the right addressees.
i mean imagine the heartache when they play your tailormade show at the wrong gig :E

One of my favorite Stones songs... easy Top Tenner and probably a Top Fiver live.

BUT... they should play it later in the set like they are in this leg of the tour... first leg of the tour they played it way too early. Really belongs late in first half or even better in back half

Agreed; they should put it on "Warhorse Row." For goddakes, replace it with that sorry "new-age" Sympathy that they've been playing.

Gotta weigh in w/ another vote for the Tumbling Tumbler but agree putting it later in the set would be a good idea.I know Mick's always said he doesn't get what the fuss is about that song but I think Keith understands-it's a feeling,a way of life,an anthem(I could go on and on).
