GHS because it still has the Jimmy Miller magic. BUT..Now or Aftermath run pretty close.

Agree with that. Though LIB and BB have the monster songs, Some Girls is more coherent as an album.

I come & pick every now & then at BB, SF, and - even, at times -
at SG. Dont like the sound at SF... Starting to cope with it more & more...
Think I´ve heard that album too late in life, as a 40 year old.
Dont think I would be a Purple- or Zepplinfan either,
if I started to hear them now... ...
SF sound is to me a lil too clinical.
Beggar´s feels a lil short too me. No really rocker; well,
SFM is, but not as speedy & fleshy in studio as it could have been.
Some Girls is too noisy, way too much treble.

Still, SG is underestimated by the broader segment. It´s no doubt one of their
10 best albums.
