O'Jays version is much better. I feel ambivalent about them doing covers. I don't have any intrinsic objection since it's always great to hear their working of a song and Night Time, for example, was indeed fantastic. But the bottom line is that I'd much prefer them to leave out cover songs in favour of more taken from their own voluminous back catalogue.
