Thunder Road is my first pic and then anything from "Born to run". I just picked up a 3 lp bootleg of his live show Sept. 19, 1978 in NJ. It sounds terrific! I paid 3 bucks for it!

"If I Should Fall Behind" was played by 2 friends at my wedding. My dad liked it so much that myself and my brother-in-law played it when my dad remarried.

I'm going to get crap for this, but I'm not a huge Springsteen fan.

I did have a Springsteen incident though. At the very first Keitih/Wino's show back in 88 at the Beacon in NYC, I was standing in the aisle near the front and this guy walked by me. It was crowded and he pretty much brushed by me in a somewhat lewd way if you know what I mean. It was very rude of him and I was just about to say something when the girl behind him, who saw what happened said, "Sorry about that". I said "no problem", like it's not your fault your boyfriend is rude. Then I noticed that the girl was Patti Scialfa, and the guy was Springsteen. How cool is that!



Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I thought the song was a knockout when "Human Touch" came out and its stature went straight through the roof when I heard/saw the live versions with the E Streeters all taking their parts.

It hard to imagine a higher compliment to Springsteen than for a son and then his father both to be married to the song. I'm sure he'd be honored and humbled to know that the song became part of your lives in such a profound way.
