Just wondering.....

Back in the 60's and 70's you used to see alot of acid at various concerts...

Purple Haze, Window Pane, Orange Barrell, etc. etc....

Do they even make this stuff anymore ??? I haven't heard a peep about it in maybe 15 years.

Haven't had any in years, I hear it's around tho. Did you know that Owsley is living in Australia, & Chip Monck (beware of woodstock brown acid) has been here in Melbourne for quite a while.
For the '72 Toronto show I had tickets but some friends of mine couldn't go so they gave me a couple of tabs. It was quite different then...

I last tripped around '96 or '97, & it was the best I ever had, so I'd guess if one has the right contacts it's still around.

There was a bust a few years ago (see: [www.cnn.com])

Apparently these two guys who got caught were responsible for the bulk of U.S. supply - or perhaps more accurately- a huge majority of the stuff at Dead and Phish shows that would choke the market for months. No one I know sees it at all anymore.

But that's far from LSD... X or dro doesn't come with the "profound insights" ...seems like acid isn't as interesting to people these days.

Maybe because they can just turn on the TV and see George Bush as the "leader of the free world" and it just feels like we're tripping!

Oh Yeah... I was reading a book about that... Lysergic Dreams or something by Krystle Cole... she's a dancer/stripper chick who hung around with the informant who busted these guys.

Interesting story, the informant actually had his own labs operating out of an EX MISSILE SILO in Kansas he had purchased from the government for pennies...

There was someone selling outside of San Jose 99 but it didn't do anything. Or so I heard.

LSD is shit though these days, its not reliable.
