Why do you think there are poor sales?
2002/3 only Munic Olympiahalle and Zirkus Krone were sold out in the first few days, but not really sold out, there were ticks all the way, right to the days events happens. All the other places never have been sold out.
But this is the right way to earn most money: First sell the stuff for a high price, create a little hype, sell more ticks for high prices, then start some other PR and at last, give away the little rest of ticks to the poor fans sitting on the fence.
This is the best working marketing and money-maschine.
Ok, they can sell out more stadium-shows by lower prices, but to earn the same money-result, the Stones would have to play double of concerts, too.
But the don't waist there time by doing this ... ;-)
