C'mon Boys!

Just got back to the motel at 3am, great concert, no doubt about it but the debacle with leaving the parking lot was a fiasco of major proportions. We had preferred parking in lot 1 and from the time we got to our car, about 12 midnite, we sat there until 2 30am without moving. In fact, no one in lot 1 appeared to move for over 2 hours. Sheesh, what a nightmare indeed.

An amazing band, an amazing tour. Even using a term 'miracle' wouldn't been that far out, since any kind of realism is long gone as far as The Rolling Stones go. It all goes beyond grasp.

It's been great to follow even from a distance.

Thank you, Mick, Keith, Ronnie, BV, ProfessorWolf, and everyone involved here and there. I guess Lord, too.

That was funny, in the beginning of Midnight Rambler Keith was just waiting and waiting for Mick to finish the harp intro, and Mick was looking like come on finally start it Keith

Just piling on with emotions here. So lucky we got to see them again.

Monday morning. I just watched Joe Basement's full show stream. That was a great show, they finished strong.

Watching Mick finish Satisfaction for some reason made me recall how a friend yet competitor of his (rest in peace) long ago slighted his performance style as a marionette on strings. Well guess what, the world embraced both Stones music and Mick's moves from the start, and here he is, turning 81 this week, still jigging about loosely and happily, and we still love it.

Would have been the location to perform Dreamy Skies but maybe it wasn't rehearsed. Santa Clara had the setlist for a tour finale.

Samantha's set was on fire. By far the best opener I saw this tour. I will post a link to that once I get home and caught up.
