Seeing the Stones in Vancouver was as far away from the Netherlands as I can think of.
My first Hackney Diamonds Tour concert. Couldn't wait till next year.
Now, after this fantastic concert, I feel confident I will experience more than this concert and the next in Santa Clara.
Where ever they plan to go next year, I'll be around.
What to say? They opened with enormous spotless power: Start Me Up
Not to forget LSTNT, Bitch and Angry. One would think they'd calm down a bit, but as soon as the fan vote was out, they immediately blew our minds with another powerful masterpiece: Street Fighting Man. My goodness!
As and old-timer I off course was looking forward to Hackney Diamonds songs. Well, non less than four of them were on. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. However, Sweet Sounds of Heaven to me was the most shiny diamond!
No need to mention the other great hit songs, they were put down as one can expect from The Rolling Stones. What a great evening.
See you soon, guys!

Strong vocals from Keith ProfessorWolf, he's getting increasingly forceful with each show.
Surprisingly Keith's showing no signs of tiredness or slowing down, the healthy lifestyle enabling him more energy and the crowd really applauding this gutsy version of BTMMR.

Great setlist in Vancouver.
Especially: They did not play 'Miss You'. Congrats!

yeah this was a pretty good one
i think i like btmmr more then happy in this slot
we've really been on a roller coaster this tour with keith's set
1st he's only doing 1 song but it's little t&a and it being played pretty good
but he's not playing tms
then he's doing 2 songs but still no tms
then he's playing tms
then he's playing 3 songs
then the last song goes from happy to btmmr
if his set was the whole show it be one third new songs, one third deep cuts, and one third warhorses
and some people think this tour is boring

Certainly has been a Rollercoaster ride, we are no more aware of why 1 Keith song stretched to 3 songs and then stayed there.
My guess is that Mick doesn't know what Keith ( in what shape ) will turn up at show time, ( is Keith in the mood to play or is he going to pose and mess up ) but apart from Keith starting the tour suffering from Covid he's been a rock, Mick perhaps happy to let Keith stick to 3 songs giving us 20 song shows and at 80 I'm pretty sure Mick is happy with a 20 plus minute rest while Keith does his set.
Just one thing about Keith that continues to baffle me is what is going on in his head when he takes to the stage and messes up SMU.
I find it hard to believe he can't just hold back still for 2 seconds and nail it properly.
Anyway it's a minor thing, Ronnie and Mick have been great the whole tour, no complaints from me as far as Mick is concerned, he's just incredible even though obviously slower but that's understandable.

Hey Paddy, I sat in section 245 which would be in the lower bowl just before it wraps around the endzone. I thought the sound was decent there.

Maybe it was the mix that was a little unforgiving? I was in 218 and Ronnie’s guitar jumped way up in the mix a few times. It was however pretty much side stage so I’m guessing it sounded better the further back you were.
