I have not missed a show so far so I will give my take on this.
I don't remember which show it was, but I remember Mick spitting on the stage and grabbing the water bottle more frequently than normal.
My guess is the changes were made due to a voice issue. They dropped Cloud for IORR which has more input from the backup singers and the same for LSTNT.
Three Keith songs follow the same thing as the last arena show in Vegas when Mick was sick. We got three songs.
Dropping Heaven is probably along the same lines. I think if Chanel was overpowering, and Mick didn't like it there would be a conversation to tone it down and not just drop the song.
None of us will probably ever know the real reason unless they come out and tell us, but these are rational speculations.
Let's be Happy that the tour is still going on. They'll have a break coming up and we'll know more after the break.

Bam: Im with you 1OO% Best album in decades. Im heading to Chicago #2. I am praying to hear Sweet Sounds.
Gaslight: Oh geez, that's a super tough one. I think I'll have to drop Rambler to hear Sweet Sounds. I've seen them do that 2Ox ... but have yet to hear the Sweet Sound of Heaven.
Mick's voice sounded impeccable in Cleveland. Outrageously great!! Im glad we got Whole Wide World; Mess It up seems a bit wobbly in the vocals. Pitchy. I think they ought to try Bite My Head Off and Sword. Why not!? Lay it on us. Give us it.
Keith needs to sing two songs max.
Thanks for reading.
Cheers!

I agree completely. At first this song was not getting the best crowd reaction.
They guitars really shine on this song. It has a feel of an older Stones song.Quote

What a great show!! I wrote a brief report the night of the show and was a bit tired with a looming 11 hour drive home the next day so didn’t get too detailed, but I just read the other reports and y’all mentioned everything I didn’t! Thanks for those detailed reports, especially mentioning the horns which were fantastic.
Cleveland was supposed to be it for me but now I’m gonna have to add a show, I miss them already

How many shows did Keith do one song? 3 or 4? Perhaps he's just catching up so that he gets 2 songs/show for the whole tour. Wouldn't be surprised if that's writtin in the contracts.
There is no such "contract" that Keith does so many songs. It's just something they agree upon and talk about in rehearsals, or when Chuck & Mick are making up the setlist. 90% of the people in the audience would prefer it if Keith would do only one song, "Happy".

He's been spitting on stages since the beginning. It's not a THING.

I got to the line for wristbands pretty late and I heard it was a disaster from the start.

For my small input, after all, I only see YouTube videos, Mick is re~energised, Keith and Ronnie (sober twins) check with each other while playing live, Steve on drums (like a metronome) Bernard (keeping up -and sometimes out performing- with the Boss), what a joy 2024 has been

Seriously, Treacle a well thought out and well communicated explanation. I think Chicago Show #1 is key. It comes after a full week off. If Keith's 3 song set and the absence of Sweet Sounds remain at Chicago 1, then I say that is how the tour will finish out. I do find the one song encode as a bit odd.
