52 since 1982. Twickenham 2018 was and almost certainly will be my last one, however.
I’m surprised you didn’t attend any of the 2022 shows.
Regardless of the number of gig attendance (52 is quite a number to be fair), you are one of the most knowledgeable, insightful and dedicated fans of the Stones.
Nice of you to say that. 52 isnt bad considering theyve only played about 5 Irish shows since 1965! Charlie dying put the lid on it for me, sadly. I'm not really that interested in seeing a Stones show without him. I dont really feel the need to see any more shows and none of the venues last year suited or appealed to me. If they played locally I'd probably go, but I can't see me travelling to see any more, unless it was in a small theatre or something. However, I certainly dont begrudge the Stones continuing to tour or fans wanting to see them.

RIP Gazza...This is no age :-(
We had our differences (actually just one, a silly one, the actual date BW left the band..) on RO back in the day but that got ironed out quickly. I'll remember a top energetic at the Pilot Inn before O2/1. I'm pretty sure he'd brought a CD of unreleased tracks and had the owner play it, anyone else remember that?
Like dcba wrote I hope he got to hear the FFSO v2 tracks he asked about last week. I was sort of surprised by that post actually, I would have thought he had access to them...And yes he helped CM's wife's friend to share the first batch of SW outtakes he had on a 90' cassette. He didn't post the 2002 sessions here but I'd heard he had been kind enough to help them circulate outside of the "insider trading circles" and reach "regular" fans.
