As the selling of this show in pre-sale was very slow, they won’t put up Lucky Dip up. Why should they? Loose more money on the show? But that’s my thinking of it. I’m not an expert as is Topi of course. And the normal selling is as even slow as was pre-sale, I will not write here what sadly comes to my mind…….
But I remember Honolulu 2006 myself. The show never happened, because of playing there, they played a rescheduled show on the same date……. It was not as expensive for them to play there with the huge stage then it would be in Hawaii.

Lucky Dip never came up during the on sale for this show. Any ideas as to why not?

.................IMO.....they cannot cancel this show under any circumstances, because Chuck Leavall is best friends with the owner of Bass Pro Shops, and he requested to book the Stones.
.................As much as Mick can be an S>O>B, he likely will not cancel it.

What's interesting is that they seem to have changed the Platinum tickets that were being sold in the presales to Standard tickets.
Is that the algorithm talking due to slower sales?

....responding to Nashville Blues....................
.....No, I do not think they know it's their last U.S. tour, and that's why they are the Stones!.............I read the article, and 2 news items popped up calling it the "Final American Tour". The Stones are not going to "satisfy" the pundits and other bands that continue to perform, but do not cause the excitement that the Stones do!. Ever notice that it is all over the news when they announce a tour?. (they were interviewed on the tarmac after getting off a plane for the 2019 tour).
......The only other acts that get that type of attention are Maca, Springsteen, and Billy Joel.
.......
..........P.S.--I have a Who poster from 1981 which says it is their "last tour" (sponsored by Schlitz Beer).

Seems like every Who tour since, and including, '81 was stated as their farewell tour.

The Who's "Farewell" Tour was in 1982. The Schlitz poster made no mention of that.

I was looking at ticket sales of the Stones show at Thunder Ridge on July 21 by comparing screenshots of the webpage showing available/ unavailable seats... Side-by-side comparisons show seats that were previously marked "unavailable" (shown in gray) becoming available (shown in blue) as other nearby seats are sold.
This shows TM's practice of holding back tickets, especially in the slower selling sections, to create artificial scarcity and maximize their profits. This practice is not easy to discern... For example, look at the following comparisons of Section 1, Row 4, Seats 5-8 (the section on the left in each of the diagrams below, and counting up from the bottom)... Those seats become available after seats 3 and 4 are sold.
Sections 1,10 Last Fri (left)
.........................................Sections 1,10 Today (right)

"I myself am not convinced they aren't still doing the phony reseller manipulation."
Except there are plenty of real resales when they can just sell their own tickets as platinums, which are often priced directly off the resale feed. You can usually find the exact same resale seats on all sites (though TM has their own point of sale service, they don't get fees when tickets are sold on other sites)

I am starting to wonder if this show will even happen and not get moved to an arena, shed or casino in a "safe" area.
I know they always have ways to fill the place but in this case you would need a population to draw from.
Ticket sales are absolutely dire. Also the location doesn't seem optimum for big shows at all. Garth Brooks, perhaps the biggest star of our time, maybe, and Morgan Wallen who is also absolutely massive, but your standard mass market events? Maybe not.
This is the aftermarket for Chris Stapleton, traditionally a big moneymaker for brokers.

Interesting. And from the information that is readily available about past events, and current offerings, how could they not be aware this was likely?
Someone seems like they dropped the ball...I wonder if they'll regret adding this?
