It is with a sad and heavy heart that I'm belatedly posting to say that our dear lady with sssoul left this world last week and far too soon. Many of the longer-standing posters on here will remember her for enriching this board with her wit and wisdom and with her erudition as the Department of Historical Accuracy on all things Rolling Stones, the band she always let us know that she loved so much. Thanks and praises to her for all the unforgettable good times I was lucky enough to spend with her over the years. May she rest in peace.

I’m so very sad to learn of sssoul’s passing. I missed her posts in the past few years - filled with deep passion for, and knowledge of the Stones. There was a lot of joyful ‘confetti all over the damn place’ when she had anything to celebrate, be it a new song, great riff or something random that delighted her. Just this morning I was watching Hail Hail Rock and Roll, and looked up an old post - as with all of them, well worth reading. You will be missed, sssoul. Love and light to you, and thanks and praises.

Oh, that's sad news. I remember first meeting her lining up for the Waldbühne show on the 14 On Fire Tour.

Truly a shame, sssoul will be dearly missed. RIP, sweet friend.

Sad news. RIP, Sssoul

This is truly sad news, and I gasped when I read it.

Lady sssoul and I bonded over our mutual love of Keith. I never had the good fortune to meet her, but we corresponded off the board over the years, and she helped me get into the Brooklyn show with her sister, who I became friendly with as well.

It made me sad to see that she had stopped posting on a regular basis as she did have a lot great wisdom to share, and was always a great voice of reason.

Sending prayers to her on her next journey and I hope someday she gets to meet our Keith in Heaven.

Oh no, this is very sad. Her enthusiasm about anything related to our favorite band (and especially Keith) was contagious, and the way she expressed her passion and wisdom was a joy to read.

I learned a lot from her posts, and although we've never met in person we were in touch once in a while.

We were very fortunate to have her with us for all these years.

My deepest condolences for her family and friends, and love and light to our beloved lady with sssoul. She will sorely be missed.

Oh no, she was such a lovely and funny person, and of course a devout Stones fan. I remember buying a Stones ticket from her years ago, but despite the best attempts and intentions we never did meet. I will miss her and her love and enthusiasm, and of course her fount of Stones knowledge. Sleep well, with sssoul.

privilege of meeting her in London. She gave me a great interview for my book on Stones fans, You Get What You Need.
