If you ever needed more proof that Rolling Stone absolutely sucks and is such a faux organization, thats it.
I am not sure if the Rolling Stones have ever hear of Karl Wallinger...
If I am not mistaken, even the US edition of Rolling Stone magazine have not reported the passing of KW.
By the way, our favourite band should release a box set like World Party's Arkeology 5-CD set while there is still interest in the public. (Who buys Bill Haley box sets nowadays? Eventually The Beatles, The Who and The Rolling Stones are going to be forgotten and then it will be time for 70-year-old Taylor Swift to release box sets of unreleased material. At least Dylan, The Who, The Kinks, The Yardbirds, The The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd etc. have all been putting out amazing sets that could satisfy the most die-hard fans...)
World Party's box set consists of 70 previously unreleased gems lovingly complied by Karl himself. Not a single album track on it. One of the best box sets out there.
