The problem is they're running out of landmarks to reference. I imagine for Santa Cruz, we're gonna get a seal with tongue and lips, since they already did the Golden Gate Bridge. Philly already got the Liberty Bell motif...

I actually really like this one!

They are running out of landmarks? Are you serious? Besides they haven’t played an outdoors In Cleveland in 30 years. Ridiculous comment

They don't need an ugly tonguey mash-up of a city's icons. Just make a one good design -- use the Hackney tongue, I suppose. Simple change the type for city, date and venue.

right, the had a Liberty Bell motif – for this year (see page 2 of this thread, fifth post from above)) but the didn't use it for some reason or the other. Someome must be blind!

Santa Clara, not Santa Cruz, so they could do something tech-related from Silicon Valley (which could be awful), or Wine Country, or the other Bridges, hopefully not Alcatraz, maybe cable car, Victorians. They have a few options to work with, but may just end up with Rice-a-roni.

I didn’t take to it at first, but after reading this history it’s grown on me

Back to back shows I’ll keep my money regarding lithographs. This one is *slightly* better than Philadelphia but not saying much. My Foxboro purchase, which I didn’t love initially, looking better and better. But everyone has their own opinions regarding art/design

The Cleveland litho is one of the best so far. I’m partial to the guardians and this incorporates that well.

Neglected to mention this earlier, but the Cleveland litho has the venue as "First Energy Stadium".

It's been "Cleveland Browns Stadium" since April 2023.

That's Blucifer, the demonic statue at the airport.

Love this poster, I passed on the dumb Boston creampie one for that show, had nothing to do with the area. Glad we got a good one for this show. Love the mountains in the background.

A little context:

Blucifer is the statue outside of DIA, its eyes glow red and is believed to be cursed. It fell on top of its sculptor killing him. Adding an extra layer of creepy to an already odd airport.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this one yet. Interesting back story about the sculpture though.

The tongue looks a tad awkward but I believe it’s a reference to the 1973 Cardiff Castle poster, which many consider their all time greatest poster. It uses the exact same tongue.

Yeah, that's a cool poster...definitely out of the ordinary.

Can't wait to see the Vancouver poster! Assuming these are sold at the shows? If so, do they come in a cardboard tube?

I think I'll just buy it online and have it shipped in the tube. I don't wanna be packing stuff around that night...plus, there's Ronnie's setlist to consider!
