I don't have as much experience as many here, but I wanted pit at regular price for NYC '19, Santa Clara '19, Glendale '19, LA '21. I had a browser open while I was on my job and kept an eye on the Ticketmaster pages. I got regular price pit for all of them except LA '21, but I was eyeing the pages until I snagged tix which occurred around six weeks to the night before the concert. It became a huge pain. Maybe paying the extra $300 would've been worth it. The seating charts of these places got burned onto my psyche (such that I had deja vu this morning at the presale!).

I imagine for less popular markets, it will be easier. On the other hand, I'm really surprised how well I did on the presales today (Houston and Santa Clara). Until today, I never managed to get regular price pit tix on presales or the day of general sales, despite having multiple devices and knowing TM super well... It took me weeks, if not months.

I just want to strike a balance between the "all the tickets are sold out I'm having a meltdown!!" and "don't worry you'll get in without a problem" anecdotes.

Today was my luckiest pre-sale ever. I got the ticket I wanted for 2 of the 4 concerts I want. I am still in shock. One browser, one TM account, not the fastest internet, and I kept typing in DIAMOMDS instead of DIAMONDS. I think sometimes you just have to be selecting what you want at the moment those tickets leave someone else’s cart, either when they get cold feet or their credit card is rejected.

I hope my luck continues on Friday. All in all, it seems a lot of folks on this forum had some good luck today. I wish everyone here good luck on Friday.

Hey Joker I ran into same issue. Rebooted computer and switched browsers and it all worked.



I still need LA1 out and about to try tge impossible. I am on a plane and will attempt to use the wifi. Expectations low so expect to be searching for a LA1 pit seat.

PayPal might be a good option.
TM lists it as a partner and it is an option under methods of payment.

PayPal is usually also much faster with the verification than credit cards.

It may save you an error message or two when the ticketing site is under heavy traffic.

i failed using paypal as well. think you cant buy packages outside the USA as they sent the goodies to a USA address. normal tickets should be fine. i hope to find out tomorrow

Well this is interesting.
I have no desire to see Phish but this does give hope that the Stones could possibly do a short run at the Sphere.

Bear in mind that 4 shows by the stones would take 2 weeks rather than 4 days...
