Very disappointed in the lack of Midwest Shows. Only Chicago as Cleveland and Denver are not in the Midwest. I realized they played Minneapolis and Detroit in 2021. But why not a Concert in Milwaukee or Kansas City. Both Cities last saw the Stones in 2015.

Topi, tick that one off your bingo card!

Cleveland is about a 12 hour drive (780 miles) from Minneapolis. The other option is to fly to Cleveland. And I can fly to New York, LA, Phoenix or Seattle if I'm gonna fly. For general thoughts I define the Midwest as: Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan. Granted the Stones are Not gonna play most of those States. They have played the following States only once: Nebraska in 1964, Iowa in 1981, North Dakota in 1999 and Kansas in 2006.

Don't get me wrong; I'm glad you are getting the Stones in Cleveland in 2024. I will probably try Phoenix or Seattle. Two States I have not seen the Rolling Stones in yet.

Agree to disagree, MDMan72. I consider myself a Midwesterner, from Wisconsin and then living in Ohio for many years, northern and central OH. I am now in New Mexico. I do feel lucky to have the band come to a few places not too far from me.

One of the ways I know I'm from there is, as my friend from Kansas City says, "We're from the Midwest. We'll talk to anyone."

I'm sure all of Canada outside of Vancouver is also disappointed in only 1 show here! I'm actually a bit surprised they're doing both Van and Seattle, 2 cities pretty close together, although I'm glad they are!

Haven't done Seattle & Vancouver since 2006.. can not wait smileys with beer

I thought for certain they'd also do Edmonton and/or Toronto.
Was also hoping that Vancouver might get two shows.. but I'll take Seattle & Vancouver!
I love that the shows are spaced apart on the schedule as well.. similar to 2006.

Vancouver is a great Stones town.. can't wait to see them there again!!

Great town period. Even better if the Stones are around.

Looking forward! winking smiley

Obviously, we've got several well connected people here. So I was hoping that we'd get some insight into pricing (pit, back G/A, etc.)

So does anyone have any info on this?

A word of advice for those booking hotels...tell the reservationist that you're coming in for a business meeting, NOT a Stones concert! I just tried to book 2 nights at a Red Roof Hotel...the night BEFORE the show was $139 and the night of the show went up to $368!! I am going to speak with the manager on Monday to explain why he can't rip off those coming in for meetings just because the Stones are in town...and AFTER I get a corporate rate, I'll tell him what a scum bag they are for ripping off Stones fans! Highway robbery! How do they get away with this? I know it's common practice! Good luck & I hope this works for everyone!

Or...go by the rumored dates and book early. winking smiley

I looked at some random ticket prices for the 2020/21 tour.

$499 Pit Atlanta
$454 Pit Nashville
$147 General Admission
$73 2x Lucky Dip Cleveland

I would assume tickets are at least 20% more now. Maybe:
$599 Pit
$199 General Admission
$99 2x Lucky Dip

The AXS site lists 16 shows and Ticketmaster lists 12. So most shows available at both sites? Thoughts on which would be best to try to score tix?

I’ve seen that AXS / Ticketmaster crossover before. One of them might list more expensive resale tickets but then there is usually a link that says “buy from the venue” and it takes you to the primary platform.

Here is an example: look for Depeche Mode on Ticketmaster at Sports Arena in San Diego. You’ll probably see expensive resale tickets. Then click on the link to the venue sales platform. It will take you to AXS which is the primary seller for that venue. You can probably buy Rolling Stones tickets from either platform for some shows but I think the primary will give you superior selection and prices.

Not familiar with AXS. I know Ticketmaster lets you "in line" 10-30 minutes early, does AXS do something similar?

I think AXS has a similar queuing system.

Not a deal breaker I'm betting.
"The Sphere Experience" is likely easily cancellable as it's the venue's own show, ie no performers to reschedule.

Strong rumors?

For Who as me will come from Europe it’s better to know if there will be some dates in sphere for not spending money on two flights to the United States.

Not sure why they would play Vegas on two separate occasions but will wait and see. If they do, I will be there.

Doug also mentioned The Sphere after Santa Clara on Shidoobee

Because Vegas is pretty much evergreen now for major acts, you can't really tap it out like other markets. Only a fraction of people attending any event are actually living in the area.

If it's just 2 shows it probably won't even go on sale until after the Allegiant show and also gives credence to the rumors that they are on tap to open the London location.

Because the Sphere is it's own thing, it's not playing Vegas twice, it's playing Vegas and then the Sphere.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

the stadium is centrally located close to downtown. trains stop close to the stadium so you have a lot of options if you want to find something along the train routes.

Does anyone have recommendations for where to stay in Denver, within a mile or so of the Mile High Stadium?

nice to see talk of the sphere in vegas
the sphere is an arena capacity show 20,000 ish
I have been following along since it was announced in 2018 and was at the 1st show this year.
when the u2 shows go on sale tickets are 1st offered as part of hotel packages thought a live nation company called vibee then what is left is offered to fan club pre sales and then general on sales.

the uniqueness of the venue is that a band doesn't need any traveling production- staging or speakers- they just show up but it does take some time to make the visuals or the screen can just show the band.
could see show being similar to the florida casino show in 2021
maybe july 20th

I don’t think any promoter can meet the Stones guarantee with an arena show, even in Las Vegas.

Alright all my fellow American IORRians! I'm sitting here with a lovely young lady deciding on which gig we should attend. Because of our sloppy economy we will only be able to go to one show.

1. She has never seen The Stones (born in 2001 so she missed out on a lot)

2. She has never been to The States. I am leaning to Houston as I've been there twice, great city and I saw Oasis at the Verizon there in 2006 and the roof blew of the ceiling there for more reasons than one + opening shows with our boys are a treasure.

The other one we are leaning to is San Francisco, I've never been there, is it a fun city?

Glad to see Cleveland on the itinerary, big fan of that town.

If ya only had one shot, which one would ya choose? Chicago would be ace in the summer.
