Yes you're absolutely right. It's Five Foot One. Very similar riff and a great track in its' open right. Not a copyright issue as the songs take different directions. But a very similar riff....

It's interesting that Mick pronounces some words in British English. Like "glass" and "past". Usually when he sings he pronounces them the American way.
It's an OK rocker but not among the best songs on the album, IMO.

Yes it catches your attention, I've never heard him sing that way before. I think I've heard him talk like that however.

My oldest daughter says it reminds her of Dark Wave, which is music like Depeche Mode, Joy Division and the Cure. I agree. That said , I love it!
