When the FC Barcelona men’s squad steps onto the pitch for another famous El Clásico fixture on October 28, they’ll yet again sport a special home shirt featuring none other than The Rolling Stones’ iconic Tongue and Lips logo. Thanks to Spotify, it will be the first time a band has been featured on the FC Barcelona shirt.

But the special matchday shirt won’t be limited to a single cameo appearance. In addition to El Clásico, the Rolling Stones FC Barcelona shirts will also be worn by the Barça Femení side during their home match on November 5.

It is marketing. THe tonue is the brand, and the jersey is FC Barcelona. You can not change the jersey, and you can not take away the tongye. I think it is brilliant.

Of course it’s marketing and i understand the power of the tongue logo. It just doesn’t look right in the middle of the shirt. Nothing brilliant on designing it this way, you and I could have come with this concept. Tongue logo should have been integrated in a more subtle way.
