As a huge fan or before and after pictures this drives me nuts. It’s idiotic and it’s a constant and I am not blaming you.
Why would someone make a picture like this but not show what the exactly location looks like now? What is the point of showing everything else as it looks today but the exact spot is what it looks like 40 years ago. I just see the point.

I wonder how many Stones songs directly reference London?
I'll start:
'Now she gets her kicks in Stepney, not in Knightsbridge anymore - Play With Fire

Play With Fire:
Your mother, she's an heiress, Owns a block in Saint John's Wood...
Now she gets her kicks in Stepney, Not in Knightsbridge anymore...

Room 1009, aren't these in the UK, rather than in NYC? What am I missing?

I fancied a change in direction, so asked how many Stones songs directly reference London

No apologise necessary! I’ve think we’ve spotted them all now. NYC certainly has more references.
Sorry for missing that, Big Al.
Carry on with London or surroundings!
There is a Frederick Street in Staten IslandQuote

Close but not quite: there is Frederick Street in Camden, but seemingly the one Mick sings about in "Dance Little Sister" is located in Port of Spain, Trinidad...
