Rickster is right on the money - so to speak - they can play any place any time - full house. Noting is coming close.

They will do well in Europe and shake up the set list a bit. I do not see them going out again on a large stadium tour in the future. They will go out with a bigger bang.

The Rolling Stones will make you happy in Europe next year and you know it. PS. I am not paid to say it. I know it.

Look at the frequency of the tours. This is the fourth big tour in the last 11 years. How many acts are able to attract 4 million people in 2005-06, after having play to 3.5 million in 2002-03 and 5.6 million in 1997-99?? Noone! No more new huge "markets" anymore. No more big virgin places on their touring map (like Japan in 1990 or South America in 1995). But the people want to see them once again or for first time, despite the high ticket prices which sometimes are annoying expensive ($450). Their popularity, as a live act, is incredible.

I imagine there were several hundred thousand tickets sold in the past 5 days for a tour that won't happen for 6-8 months. The shows will sell out. What's the problem?

The shows are sold out.

Most as long as I can remember folks have been saying the Stones
have had it. Yet he new album is a classic. And I agree with BV,
this tour is one of the best yet, from the two shows I've seen.
My humble advice? Enjoy the band while you still can,
and stop worrying about what others might say!!!

"Most people only go to one show. Most people don't obsessively follow the setlists on the internet. Most people are satisfied if they hear many of their favorite songs. "

Best comment on this debate so far.

Most people don´t want to spend a fortune to go to that one show.
So the stadiums will not sell out.
