Wikipedia says Keith Richards also on Bass.
Classic Keith, but with a new (almost distorted) sound. Love that bass

Well, I haven't really had much time to loop the YT video since Thursday last around noon. But I'm back home now, and it's been on loop since 7:30am EST. I'll contribute all I can to get this one up to 20MM!!!! What's their highest most streamed song on YT?

I find the autotune and vocal production not very well done on Angry. Not because I don't like autotune: It can be used artistically in many different ways and I think Ghost Town is a good example where it fits because that kind of dub sound carries a long tradition of effects and sound manipulation.
On a Rock'n'Roll-tune like Angry it sounds cheesy and I get Angry because I know Mick doesn't need it. That's the main reason I'm looking forward to hearing a live version.

Question for those in the know........is the cover artwork for the CD single the same on the cheaper version as it is on the Japanese-only SHM CD Single?

whatever, genius of a line like: "I'm still taking the pills and I'm off to Brazil"
That is - my reading - Mick having fun rhyming and not giving a sh*t about writing deep meaning stuff.

"Still taking the pills" may refer to the bloodthinners and other medications he will have to take for the rest of his life after the transapical aortic valve implantation he underwent in 2019. "Off to brazil" may mean that he's nevertheless back to business as usual. Maybe his doctors are angry with him?

Despite the presumptuous erudite ramblings on the meaning of this one, it seems clear to me...
Mick is ranting about an affair. The jilted lover is angry about the STD he left her with and he says, hey sorry. "I'm still taking the pills and I'm off to Brazil". He knows that they will both be fine. Clear it up, clean it up and move on. Experience talking, you know?!
Simple. Brash. Kick Ass Rock N' Roll.
Don't overthink it and just enjoy the hell out of it.

The way I read it is I am still using Viagra pills (meaning he is still active) and in fact, I am off to Brazil

One thing I noticed is the official Youtube video had 13 million views the day sfter it was released and now only 15 million. People are not going back to listen to it again because it’s not a good song.
Still makes no sense to push the media blitz 6 weeks before the album is released.

Looking back through this thread, around page 6, one poster reports it has had "9.8 million YouTube views in less than two days" - not 13m. So since those first few days of peak viewership, it's added another 5.2 million views, which isn't too shabby....!
Today I bought some new headphones which are a considerable upgrade on my old ones, and to me it sounds brilliant. When you get to the first guitar solo, and when the handclaps come in, it just hits overdrive to become a pure peak Stones on a mega roll - hitting all seven of the rock n roll chakras, from crown to root - it's the kind of noise that has you racing round the room like a demented cat.
OK I'll get me hat.

This, or, more likely, one or two views of the video and you are done with it, then you continue listening from your streaming service. Of course, if you like the song. At least this is me.

There is an interesting contrast between the private nature of Jagger's lyrics and his refusal to talk about anything private in other media.

I don't think his lyrics are ever actually private, he always makes up a character when he writes a song. It's almost never actually about his own life.
