It will be a great album. They know it.
We should believe in them. They want the end of their career to be as great as their start.
Another album to follow next year with a tour in Europe.

I'd say the biggest hits were in the 60s Keith was the major contributer in those days, then arguably their best album Exile On Main Street is mostly Keith. So I'd say Keith was king when it was a phenomenon.
I don't think Mick could barely play guitar in the 60s.
Fortunately what you think is wrong.
Especially since Keith didn't come up with Brown Sugar.

Show me Mick playing that beautiful guitar interplay at the intro.

"Let's face it Keith has always been the more talented one creatively as far as songwriting goes"
This has now been debunked but I think everyone will agree that Keith is the better musician, always looking for subtle chords and arrangements when Mick generally seems happy with straightforward progressions. It's well summed up in the Mixed Emotions "writing session" where you see Mick in a hurry to finish off the song and Keith senses it needs something more and spends time working on it.

Mick created the melody and wrote lyrics. However, it was Keith's open-g riff that shaped the sound of the track. Undoubtedly, it's Mick's song, but Keith helped make it what it is.

Mick playing an early version for Ike and Tina here: [www.youtube.com]
I love Keith and he definitely helped tidy Brown Sugar, but I do think Mick gets the credit for that one. 35 seconds in. Keith also says as much here:

Sounds like Mick has shagged your old lady.
Seriously, I wonder when you Keithettes will grow up to understand that The Rolling Stones is something more than constant Mick vs. Keith dick contest. You are just so damn predictable and boring. Not to mention childish.
There is a new ROLLING STONES album coming on, if you haven't noticed? And this thread is about that.
An advice: start your own thread in which you can state why Keith Richards is so much better (in your world) than Mick Jagger. Probably you could scream all your Jagger bitterness/hatred/angst there, if BV tolerates.

Well when the new album comes out I'd be happy to talk about it with you, do you have to be such a child constantly gunning for a ban.
Okay you win.

Does that E under Bite My Head Off mean that the lyrics are explicit?

Oh so you and your chums are fact checkers now, Gimme Shelter has been debunked, no point in having a conversation now, Mick Jagger proved he is a the major writing contributer when he released Let's Work, Sympathy didn't start as a Samba, all we needed was Micks lyrics, Keith songwriting wasn't as important.
Thanks for showing me how it all works guys.

Yes - let the pointer hover over the E symbol.
Btw: no signs that the second single would be released on 22-Sep-2023.
