This is an important message regarding e-mail security on IORR.

Your e-mail address is private and personal. Even if some may want to expose their e-mail address to others, best practice security wise is to hide your e-mail address on large portals like IORR.org.

Hackers are constantly crawling Internet for e-mail addresses. Then they make up phishing messages for you to "bite on". Please make your security as high as posibble on IORR (and all other trusted sites) by NOT exposing your e-mail address.

If you click on your user name in one of your posts on IORR, this is how your e-mail address should show ip, i.e. "Hidden":

User Profile : yourloginname
Email: Hidden
Posts: ...
Date Registered: ...
Last Activity: ...

If "Email" is not hidden, then I would advice you to make it hidden, which is the default setting when new users are generated on IORR:

IORR.ORG
Tell Me
My Control Center
Edit Email Settings
Allow other users to see my email address
(TURN THE ABOVE SETTING OFF)
Submit (Click the button)
