No idea if this has been posted here before by me or anyone else. I don't remember. Hoffs was the lead singer in The Bangles and has done some cool stuff with Matthew Sweet which is worth checking out. I came across the acoustic version of UMT first and thought, oh has she done it elsewhere? My preference is the solo cut which I wish was longer.

Matthew Sweet used to release some very good stuff, I've seen him live a couple times, many years ago! He had some great riffs -- but he's been releasing cover albums with Hoffs for some time now - I think there's a Beatles tribute album if I recall correctly. He was better on his own!
