Re: Goldmine’s “Flowers” and following releases by ABKCO

Question about the 'Big Hits #2 US" release. I (think I) have the latest release from October 2023 with barcode 018771213611 (https://www.discogs.com/master/54334-The-Rolling-Stones-Through-The-Past-Darkly-Big-Hits-Vol-2?sort=year&sort_order=desc&image=28692676.SW1hZ2U6MTAyMDQ1MjQ0)

Discogs says it's a 'worldwide' release, which is a bit odd, because any other re-issue from these series is or US, or EU. It could be true though, because nor on the back cover, neither on the label there is any mentioning of EU or US.

What is also a bit strange is that on all other re-issues I own so far (10), all, have hand etched the text 'SELECTION # <number>' in the vinyl runout. This issue of Big hits #2, does not have this. So I wonder if the copy I have is the one issued on October 20 (as part of the re-issue program. The barcode suggests it should be. Any ideas?

Isn't there a sticker or a Inkjet print on the shrink foil where the LP was pressed (e.g. Germany or Canada) - [iorr.org] ?

It certainly wasn’t Canada, maybe Germany or Czech Republic, but not sure. This raises the question: what is the location of the printed info about where the lp was pressed? Is it the back cover, the label or the info on the sticker on the shrink?

It's usually located on the rear cover, see the pictures in my above link.

I'm afraid you've mixed up two titles:

It's Big Hits (High Tide And Green Grass) US version

I have a question about this ones:
0 18771 95391 3: Beggars Banquet (Old DECCA Logo) 2017 release.
0 18771 20481 7: Beggars Banquet (LONDON)

where are they manufactured?

You are right about my mistake (0 18771 21551 6: Big Hits (US Version ABKCO Shop Olive Vinyl & Slip Mat) Now Corrected.

Both Beggars Banquet are made in EU, 2017 Release made in the EU, the 0 18771 20481 7 Made in CZECH REPUBLIC according the sticker.

Anyone know what the status is of these re-releases:

1 December - Got LIVE If You Want It!
1 December - The Rolling Stones 2
2024 - The Rolling Stones
2024 - Now!

The first two should already be out, did anyone see these 'in the wild' yet?

When looking at the online stores, they're not announced yet - even in the United States or Japan.

It seems that vinyl shortage has somehow postponed their release. Still, I believe that ABKCO won’t give up completing their program. Let’s wait…

Is it really due to vinyl shortage? I wonder how well the previous versions in the series sold.. With the mono box, the SHM CD's and a lot of recent RSD and anniversary editions, I cannot imagine that they sold a lot of them..

Totally does not make sense. OOOH just had a re-release last year. What's new about this one? I'm waiting for No2, Rolling Stones, Get Live If you want it

They stopped the "Clearly Vinyl" series, or whatever it was called just a few years ago. That saw the re-release of 6 titles in clear vinyl before they abruptly stopped.

From memory it was BB, LIB, GYYYO, 12x5, Hot Rocks...and...I forget the last one.

Talking about the GLIYWI! re-issue, it should be the album, not the EP.
