I assume it doesn't create any other risk?... Is that right?

if you choose to enable insecure links on IORR, in your browser, like it is explained in the first post in this thread, then you allow display of any external or internal links anyone may post on the IORR forum. Secure and insecure.
The process that I explained in the first post of this thread was just a workaround to get the YouTube videos to display & play in the forum.

BV, would someone have to physically CLICK on an insecure link in the forum , one posted by a so-called 'mad user' to actually pose a threat?

Thank you for replying. But I still can’t remove a post. I can only edit a post. I can delete the words and put some other words in it, but not delete the whole post.

It appears that everything is working again the way it used to without any adjustments to various browsers, etc. - at least on my end.

Only BV can delete a whole post (contact him via email) - but it would require a lot of his private time if everybody sends him a mail with: "Oops, can you just delete my mistake?".

Of course I would not do this and take a lot of bv (Bjornulf’s) time for this. Just edit the post is enough, but it’s a bit strange one can’t delete his own post if it is a mistake.
