At least Maiden have a vocalist who still can sing.

Dickinson sounded great. Axl and Brian were constantly hanging in the ropes, judging by the videos I've seen so far.

Regarding Brian, constantly ? Certainly not DP.
On the most demanding titles, it's true.
NO autotune.
Angus was just great.

Thunderstruck, You shook me and Highway To Hell played in their original key didn't help Brian.
2h15 of show, 24 tracks, the longest of the band with him...he was not spared.

But hé, Brian is not the perfect Keith Richards...With a guitar playing comparable last year to 1972 , 1981 and 1989 one, always better, in short awesome.

I think Brian did a very good job. He put all he had into it or tried.

He deserves credit for giving all he got.

Regarding the rest of your post, I don't know what you're on about smiling smiley

I think Stevie Young's sloppy playing ruins the overall sound, he's an amateur player compared to Malcom.
Just listen to Riff Raff and how he's lagging behind.

He sounds very stressed to me, and you can hear it with every attack on his Gretsch. This is true on Riff raff and the intro of If You Want Blood, but over the whole show he's pretty good.

After that, it's true, there's only one Malcolm Young, arguably the best rhythm guitarist in rock history.

I was there.

AC/DC are a proper Rock N' Roll band that absolutely kicked ass all night.
Brian looked incredibly happy and Angus never stopped moving and playing.
Unbelievable. Welcome back, indeed!

Plus, their Pop Up Dive bar was a stroke of genuis. What a blast!

Metallica, true fans they are, watching all the acts throughout the weekend. Cool to see that Axl has seemingly buried the hatchet with those guys.

Awful vocals On every song

The more videos I see of Brian the worse I think he sounds. Listen I'm happy he's there, and I mean really happy. He got completely screwed on that last go around and we never really found out what went on. Brian is on record as saying they literally just dumped him and his bags on the side of the road, so I'm happy they have patched things up. Brian being there makes it more legitimate. Having said that, despite Brian giving his all I'm not going to lie to myself and say he sounds good. This is probably the worst Highway To Hell I've seen them do:

If it was up to me and this is how Brian is going to sound, I'd probably chalk this up to they should be grateful they've gotten as good of press as they have and call it a day here. But I know a large majority of the public these days seems to want bands to continue even after they're dead just to say they've seen them.

As of last month they were booking a tour, we will see what happens with that.

I thought it was supposed to be announced this week. Curious what the hold up is.

I love AC/DC and would have liked to have seen them again.Even if they tour I will give it a miss.I got my bootleg from Leeds from the early eighties as a memory of a great gig.But I just refuse to pay silly money to see a band way passed their prime.

Yes, HTH is really hum... (very) average.

Brian seems to have some trouble with his auditory system here - let's not forget his hearing problems.
Strangely enough, he's very good on Let there be rock.

The version of Have a drink on me is also very good.
[youtu.be]

He needs to work on more melodic vocal lines and stop trying to scream like he used to.

In my world...a band stays together...as long as it is possible. Brotherhood and warm hearts mean a lot - perfection leaves me cold...

AC/DC full show, great image and sound.

Brian slobbers on some vocally demanding tracks, but overall he really gives it his all and gets through.

Angus is just phenomenal.

Matt Laug does an excellent job.

Stevie's sound is a bit high-pitched for my taste.

I think thats being far too generous to Brian, but hey I'm as happy as anyone to see him up there with them. While I think Axl did a better job, they're 50 years into a career. Give me Brian cause we can't have Bon or no one. I do think they should probably just retire at this point, but I get that its tricky because Angus can so still go on and hasn't lost a step. The rest aren't as up to snuff as him, and seeing him tour under his own name admittedly wouldn't have the same effect. I'd still go out while you're on top and memorable, but thats me.

I'm hearing them rumored to play Rock In Rio next year but no other word on additional touring..,
