Man. I'd love to have that live version of Hide Your Love.

Maybe it’s from the 1973 tour rehearsals .There is that horrible sounding bootleg that you can barely hear them rehearsing Goats head Soup songsQuote

They sound different to me. I just played what they call the Alternate Mix off GHS Deluxe. I thought the version here was live. It certainly sounds looser than a studio cut.
I think the album version would have been better had Keith played on itQuote

It is the alternate studio take from GHS Deluxe. Taylor's lead guitar and Keith's rhythm give it away.

I didn't really miss his guitar on HYL for many years, but I loved the alternate take with his rhythm guitar. Now the original studio version feels a little thin without it

Love these photos! Awesome. Jagger looked amazing, KR stylish like a dark demon and Taylor like a shy angel but with fierce guitar skills!

As far as I am concerned, they could put that 1972/73 live version of the Stones into UNESCO Cultural Heritage List: as a peak achievement what a rock and roll band could and should look and sound like. It's all there. Pure perfection by all means.

With all these great photos you’d think there’d be some audio recordings of the quality of Brussels, but I guess notQuote
