This may not be a popular choice but I really like the runs he plays on Winning Ugly
during the verses, between the vocal phrases.

My point is I don't actually see him do it.

But you can hear it?

Yeah and it doesn't sound anything like him lol

This is really lame reasoning, and what a waste of time actually to post this. They build an entire career out of doing things we didn't expect or sounded different. If not, they would have spent 60 years playing Chuck Berry covers.

I think what's more lame is ripping into somebody because they don't know every lick Keith Richards has played lol

The guy always says "that's not Mick Taylor, it doesn't sound like him." Yet, here is Richards not sounding like his usual self, and it's lame to voice that observation! Hypocrite

2120 S Michigan Ave is awesome. Also Keith channeling CB on Down the Road A Piece

For Mick Taylor every band was a vehicle to improvise I think. Even with the Rolling Stones. With Jack Bruce he didn't stand the test due to reasons that belong in the "Mick Taylor what's on your mind" thread. Leave Keith alone; he played that palm muted line in his own way and hence cherished his "baby".

"Sympathy For The Devil". Like lightning in a bottle, mercurial and extremely hard to replicate. Which is why Keith never even tried.

They were more mature on Dirty Work but not to the Vegas years yet. It could have been so much better.

There is some good stuff on this album and this is one of them. There is also some not so good stuff on the album.
