With the release of GRRR Live, it reminded me of our appearances in the mini-film before the concert itself, Monkeytonk making much more of an impact than my humble self.
Having made a search it seems he hasn’t posted for ten months. It would be nice to know that he’s OK.

There’s been many a regular poster who suddenly stops. Many years ago, now, there was someone by the name of ‘Johnr’ - I think -, who’d contribute wonderfully. Then he stopped posting and hasn’t been visible since. Perhaps he passed away, or simply moved on. Unless they’re known personally to others here, often we won’t ever know.

I was at both Hyde Parks in the pit on Keith's side (1) and Ronnie's side (2) but didn't see him at either. I first ran into him back whenever it was that Waterstone's bookshop in Piccadilly organised a book signing for Keith's book LIFE ......

Do you remember our walk around London after filming? We went to the Stones’ pop-up shop.

How come we haven’t heard from you for so long? Of course, it may well be none of my business but glad you’re in the land of the living.

The dude on the VW bus roof is the first thing I thought about when I saw the thread. Is that a real pic and if so what's the story behind it?

Indeed it is a real photo, Taken of me on top of my van when I'd arrived in Germany for the Magic Circle Festival I believe, headlined by Manowar if memory serves.

I also drove the van round Europe for the Bigger Bang tour, met some fantastic people. Remembering the Stones Vikings always brings a smile to my face

Gaz, I emailed you a decade ago to congratulate you on the killer job you did opening the Stones 2012 shows. "Everything was in color!" We agreed if I came to the UK, we'd have a pint and talk some Stones. Well, I'm on the way. That email address of yours doesn't work anymore. Are you in London? Can I finally buy you a pint? You deserve it!
