When Charlie passed away I wrote a song on the emotions that I was feeling. I realized The Stones are part of my life for decades ever since I was eight years old. The death of Charlie felt like a part of me died too. The words and melody just came to me in those first moments. The song is called “Tears For Missing You”.

I want to share this song with other Stones fans and I’m curious about your thoughts on it.

Well done Marco. I enjoyed that a lot. Brings it all back. I’m 55 and as far as I recall, Charlie is the only musician to date whose death has brought me to tears. I’ve attended 4 Stones shows since we lost him and for me the enjoyment just isn’t the same without him. I agree it would be nice if the remaining Stones covered it.

Marco, your song made me cry..it is sincere, heartfelt and it actually sounds like it could be a Stones song. I hope the band gets to hear it. I'm sure they'll appreciate it as much as I do.
