it still isn't clear on the site.. if i pay $100 to sign up for the membership can i use this to buy tickets for more than one show ?

bit of a con then.. this is what i was saying in the ther thread about touring for money. if i want pre-show a few times i have to pay them $300 and just get 3 DVDs out of it.. it they really wanted a fan club for the fans you would sign up once and get access to more than one show to buy tickets or even better just release them to the public

I agree its a con but there are ways to still get good tickets

I have used my fan club pre sale code for great tickets to MSG Jan 20th (i live in the UK)

We'll have great weekend in NYC all centred around seeing the Stones

And I've this morning used my Amex card to get 3 good seats at Wembley next August - there is an Amex pre sale for Wembley

i remember the world cup did this with tickets to mastercard holders and i'm sure the Eu said this wasn't legal and anti-competitive etc but it's still going on

abit annoyed about this esp as my brother who has an amex card doesn't have it with him today

when they call it a fan club what they mean is give us $100 to we can make some more money

I did the same as you for NY shows.

However, whilst I had to pay $100 for a membership to give me a shot at tickets for the first MSG show, I got almost exactly the same seats 2 nights later using a venue presale passcode that someone had shared - and that cost me nothing. The Amex presale holders arent paying for the privilege either. Its hardly a level playing field.

Was just checking ticket presale availability for Wembley and it seems if you have a fan club membership you can get four tickets. Yet, if youre an Amex holder, you can buy TWELVE!
