Infamy

Why all the bashing on Infamy.
I think it's one of the best tunes on ABB.
It has a very good groove that really hits you.
A friend of mine, who always hated their songs (except Satisfasction and Honky Tonk Women) really loves Infamy and was yelling out "Keef, Keef!" while hearing it last night on my stereo system.
And I think it's way better than the poppy This Place Is Empty, which sounds like a Bryan Adams tune with Keith singing lead on it in my opinion.

Agreed that Infamy is a good song, but why must you insult TPIE? It's a beautiful song.

TPIE sucks. Infamy - not a bad groove, but sounds more like some half-baked KR solo outtake, frankly. Keith was pretty much 0-fer on ABB...

Infamy is weak and should never been on the disc. Sappy lyrics to boot. Did KR shoot his wad on all of his solo efforts? "999"
, "Take It So Hard", "Struggle",
"Will But You Won't", or "How I Wish" all rocked.

both of the Keith-LV tracks on ABB are mighty mighty fine.
i love the loony lope of Infamy, and listen to how beautifully the lyrics lie right on the rhythm -
it sounds as natural and inevitable as breathing, as rain falling.
and the concert renditions are such a trip - ahh the joy in that! he makes it abundantly clear. :E

"What do you want - what?!"

I like them both. A lot.
I see Infamy a "dance" number. PLAY IT LOUD AND SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER!

I was not impressed on first listen to Infamy on ABB. But after seeing KR have so much fun with it live, where IMO it is much more powerful depsite missing MJ's harp, I have a new appreciation of it.
