What is the best sounding boot of the '05 tour so far?

Good question! Let's hear it! I hope it's the San Diego or Colombus show....

Have not heard all of the boot from the Fresno show as of yet - but the "Rain Fall Down" boot is quite good - and the Fresno show may turn out to be the best one....

I preface these remarks with, this is all IMHO.

The best audience recording is Columbus Sept 24.

There is a recording(s) of Hollywood BowlNov 6 which is brilliant. I put it in plural because it's a mix of 2 separate recordings, one an audience, the other an ALD (audience listening device) being the system that hearing impaired folk can tap into. These 2 are available separately but they have also been synced together & mixed very nicely thank you. It has the clarity of a snbd with the depth of an audince recording if that makes sense. A work of love & well worth the d/l. All of this is available @ Dime.

Sound quality wise they've all been a pretty
ragged bunch of audience recordings, listenable,
but highly discardable in the overall bootleg scheme
of things. Some commendable efforts have been made to
record the shows, even clean them up, but they remain
pretty much souvenier quality. Maybe insightful at times.
I'd recommend reading the show reviews here, and go for the
good ones on bit torrent for free on DaD,Traders Den or Rocks Off.
