Last time The Stones played Levi Stadium, they said it would be the last time. Due to noise ordinances they have to shut down at 10PM

Hadn't heard that ..had heard there was a potential noise curfew issue there last time, but they played to around 11, Hope it makes the cut, great venue and area.

There was also another issue, something between the Stones staff and the stadium staff. Trying to remember, something to do with food service for the band and crew, and other things. Someone help me out here. It seems it may have soured the band to the point where they may never want to play Levi's again.

When there is a tour page you know things are about the get serious.

Not sure if I can make one or two shows this tour. Sure gonna try but summer is almost fully booked already. Also will be very hard to top Waldbuhne.

You'll find a way.

Isn't this soooo exciting? An arena/stadium tour coming up, the first combined venues tour since 2014 which might last 4 months, which means stretching the 15 shows limit! Maybe the longest stretch of shows since 2007.

I'm SO ready! I can't wait to fly to the US from Germany again, this time to hear some new music!

I've been to 20 shows since my first show in 2014 but never got to see an arena show! This will be a first too!

Looking forward to attending at least one arena show. Prices will be high but worth it to see the greatest band ever.

On the 7th day God created The Rolling Stones

Houston gal here..30 million people in Texas. 7 mil in Dallas/Ft.worth area and 7 mill in Houston area..so a lot of tours include a Texas stop due to sheer population.

I am really looking forward to this tour. It is bringing back memories from the shows in 1997 and 2005, when they had many news songs for us. Three weeks into the 2005 tour, we got a great long soundcheck, new songs, and more news songs appeared on the stage that summer. See the reports from the show then at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV

.

The first month of the tour this summer will bring many new songs, I hope. How lucky we are. It may be a long tour, it may be a mixed tour, and it will for sure be a tour to remember as long as we live.

I'm so excited! Thank you bv, as always. I live in Tampa, and it was great to see them come back here last year. I know they won't be back here, but no matter where they come in Florida or anywhere else, I will be there.

Along with the Hollywood Bowl shows, the MGM Arena show stands out amongst the very best I saw in 2005.
The MGM show in 2006 was pretty great and memorable as well....the night Mick's father passed away....one of the greatest performance from Mick considering the circumstances.
In fact I'd say every show I've ever seen at the MGM ranks near the top...a small indoor arena with a small-ish capacity of just 14,000....would be amazing if the were ever to play there again.

I remember this show and there were no fireworks either. It had something to do with the curfew or there was a change at the last minute.

And I definitely remember hearing they would not be back.

How easy has it been to acquire Lucky Dips these last few tours? I only tried them in 2013 and my Dips weren't exactly Lucky, so I never got them since. Seeing as it's rumored that arenas are on the table for this tour, I have concerns of much higher ticket prices, at least for those particular shows. And it could be worse if they adopt the same dynamic pricing strategy that a few other big names have done. I'd be willing to try them again, and I was curious how easy they are to get.

You can get Lucky Dips if you're on it right on the dot as the general onsale starts.

I have never once gotten shut out of LDs myself.

As far as Dynamic pricing, the Stones have used that for a long time now (dating all the way back to Zip Code in 2015 at least), so it's nothing new to them.

Now, to what prices the algorithms will take the Stones tickets this time around remains to be seen. If they're really playing some arenas (especially in a market like NYC), I fear it's going to be lights out expensive.

difference between a stadium and arena could be 50,000+ seats to 15,000 seats
less seats to go around
10 years ago- 2013 US tour had prices topping at $2100 each
Tongue Pit's were $1,500 or opt for the $2,100 ticket, The four tiers of regular seating are priced at $163.45, $266.70, $474.15 and $780.15

Yeah, to me it sounds like you're leaving money on the table (as the promoter) if you're doing arenas. Somehow I don't think the Stones are giving any discounts on their fee.

Arena just makes for higher ticket prices- can read the review about Dean Goodman paying $754 a ticket in 2012

It is always nice to catch the Stones in a city... but how about The Town? winking smiley

They've played Oakland many times!

Back in the day it was a good venue but after they remodeled for the return of the Raiders (before they even left) the place went down hill. Not a fan of Levi Stadium but the Oakland Coliseum is a literal sh!thole. It is closer to where I live but wouldn't be disappointed if I was out of the country for those shows.

Last time The Stones played Levi Stadium, they said it would be the last time. Due to noise ordinances they have to shut down at 10PM

Yes , "No to Levi's", although the show was great! As for Oakland, and right down the hill, probably not. My bet would be S.F. again. Which I don't mind at all.

I have more dates but I need more confirmations, will publish as soon as I can. Hotel prices June/July are just crazy, make sure you plan your travel early, with flexible options, as many hotels will just be sold out.
