3-4 shows in Canada? Come on folks – be realistic…

Not sure how three stops in Canada isn't realistic at this point. Two already all but confirmed. Toronto, like Vancouver, hasn't had a show in a long time, and they love the city. Sure, they may just do Buffalo instead again, but I doubt they don't take a final bow in Toronto this time. Hell, they may just throw Montreal into the mix smileys with beer

Vancouver's always been a GREAT Stones town imo. I bet they could fill two shows there.drinking smiley

Have my rooms and flights booked for Chicago and Cleveland. Fly in morning of show, fly back following day. The great 24 hour city visits. Flights are changeable if needed.

Is Cleveland a nice place to stay for a few nights? Lake Erie? Any great nature stuff around? End of July is really the only time that will work for me coming from Germany.

The thought of a new album is even more exciting imo, but a new album coupled with a new tour? It's almost like the good old days again...

smileys with beer

Starting to get in the groove...feeling the excitement and anticipation....reminiscing and revisiting tours of the past...all those years ago...
This clip from 1981 is incredibly exciting and energetic...Keith blazing away... Mick all over the place including up in the stands with fans...
And Charlie, Bill, and Ronnie...and the rest...relentless...amazing...like a different band all together...and amazing to think 42 years later Keith, Mick, and Ronnie keep rolling on...inspiring...thumbs up

Hell, if Elton can just do 2 shows and Coldplay has pretty much sold out 2 shows then Stones should be able to! I'd be at both.

I wonder if there's a chance they'll play the TD BANK NORTH Arena in Boston as long as they're playing Foxboro...I HATE Gillette Stadium....a nightmare to get to! Boston Hotels are more expensive than NYC! What's the new name for the Watchovia Centre in Philly...it used to be The First Union Center 1999 for No Security. Is that the arena that they might play?

Awesome georgemcdonnell314 - that was the first tour I saw the Stones...both nights at the L.A. Coliseum.
Hard to imagine in today's world all the brand new/newish/recent tunes they had to choose from back then to incorporate in to the setlists...
From Some Girls ('78), Emotional Rescue ('80), and Tattoo You ('81), and then the great classics along with a few choice cover tunes...

And the setlists in general were quite lengthy and packed with loads of goodies!

L.A. Coliseum, Oct. 9, 1981

I love Cleveland.. there's some nice restaurants and some excellent art museums, as well as the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame.. it's not a very large city compared to some but it's good visit for a few days, it's definitely one of the shows I plan to go to .. my opinion only

It is always nice to catch the Stones in a city... but how about The Town? winking smiley

They've played Oakland many times!

Back in the day it was a good venue but after they remodeled for the return of the Raiders (before they even left) the place went down hill. Not a fan of Levi Stadium but the Oakland Coliseum is a literal sh!thole. It is closer to where I live but wouldn't be disappointed if I was out of the country for those shows.

Last time The Stones played Levi Stadium, they said it would be the last time. Due to noise ordinances they have to shut down at 10PM

Yes , "No to Levi's", although the show was great! As for Oakland, and right down the hill, probably not. My bet would be S.F. again. Which I don't mind at all.

SF doesn't have a venue unless its an arena. Candlestick Park is gone and unless they are headlining Outside Lands there isn't a venue.

Hotels booked (refundable) for Foxboro and Cleveland to lock down the real estate.

Could be Oracle (formerly Pac Bell, SBC, and AT&T) Park or, if we are talking arenas, the Chase Center which is new and where they've never played before.

Thank-you Plexi. Saw them at Pac Bell (when?) in 2005 with the bay bridge behind the stage, magical...

It was called Pac Bell (original name, opened in 2000) in 2002. But not sure if they will be doing any baseball stadiums as it seems they've pretty much been using NFL football stadiums of late. I wouldn't rule out Levi's if they can come to an agreement/understanding nor the Oakland Coliseum Stadium where they've played tons of times over the years.

I’d very surprised if they repeat any of the 2021 stops.

Well at least the shows that actually occurred (excluding the cancelled shows from original 2020 slate).

For me personally, Cleveland is the crappiest city in Ohio. Rundown and has an upstate NY vibe to it. Other than the RnR HOF there’s nothing to really see there. Went to an Indians game about 6 years ago and walking to the stadium made me nervous. Parking lots in sketchy part of town but coming thru the downtown area was a short but nice area. I’d consider going if this show was on the weekend but I’d be in and out same day. No way I’d stay there. It’s not far from Niagara Falls really. A few hours drive.

Before or after Edmonton, which is June 18.

BC Place is available then! Whitecaps don't have any soccer matches then, no other concerts booked and BC Lions haven't announced their football schedule yet. Whitecaps last game is June 10 so set up the stage, do rehearsals, etc. or conversely make Vancouver the 18th then Edmonton 22nd for extra time for rehearsals and work out any kinks in the stage production.

The opener is going to be earlier than mid-June. They're not going to have to rehearse in Vancouver.
