by the way why shouldn't they do a live radio broadcast of a show? Old school it would cost next to nothing and people would love it.

That's because the 60 concerts are a big deal and a joy to be at, especially at a time when much of the world is falling apart/in flames/at war/et al et al, and the band are playing fantastic gigs, stuffed with fantastic songs from a wonderful epoch of popular music that is almost over and will not be experienced again, and they are nearing the end of a very long road, an end that is clearly in sight for them and for all their audiences, and of course there are the rough edges and flubs that stay-at-home perfectionists may spot and feel enraged about, but these are joyous and very special gatherings - people at a rock n roll show don't give good reviews for perfection, generally, but for feeling, for the whole impact. If you want 'perfection';, see The Eagles, I guess! Or a tribute band ... One thing I love about the Stones is that no tribute band would ever dare to play like them - and no tribute band would ever have their power, either. I reviewed Hyde park 1 for the Arts Desk, and I gave it five stars because it was a gig and an event that deserved five stars, to me it was joyous and powerful, and that was the feeling I got from the audience around me too. So no apologies from this hack.
As for petits fours and champers... If only!

In general, Stones concerts are like the flux compensator in "Back to the Future": for a few hours you can indulge in the illusion of cheating time and feel as if you could dance the night away to "Midnight Rambler". This is partly due to the well-honed songs, but also to the fact that Jagger, from a distance and in washed-out black and white, appears on the screen like his own juvenile revenant. In some moments, the images seem like recorded archive footage, but they are actually filmed reality. The iconic image overlays reality, a striking effect. Perhaps the Stones, and Jagger in particular, are simply out of time, beyond all fashions, so to speak, difficult to measure by normal standards. In fact, they still seem to be having fun doing what they do, enjoying the audience's encouragement in a short round of introductions. Ron Wood jumps excitedly along the catwalk, headband wearer Keith Richards smiles soulfully like a pirate who has lifted a treasure.

I have a maybe strange request. But since I didn't get my Pit A wristband (too late apparently) I'm hoping somebody would post a picture so I could put it in my concerts attended album. Thanks in advance.
