I like it! Still don't get the roof, but maybe this stage has a few surprises in it...but from the ground, it looks great and celebratory, I think!

Based on what I see, I think the sound will be good, too.

Yes, though it does have a cartoon feel to it with the wonky curvature of the stage border which is accented with neon lights as seen above - I can imagine the Smurfs running all around it as if it's their playhouse.
I was half-expecting something extraordinary to happen with some extra bells and whistles, maybe a moving segment of the stage itself, or even an explosion of color or something, but alas that's all there is -
Two small side screens and a larger central screen. Hopefully they don't dispose of it as it does look disposable, and will carry on to other areas of the world with it. Or maybe replace it with something more extravagant.

I was placed near the mixing board for Mardid i gotta say the new stage was really good. The whole setup with lights was really brilliant.

Dont worry if your seats arent that great for the coming shows. You really gain something by seeing the whole stage, from the lights around the shape of the stage, theres lights on top of the mixing boards. The side screens have different stuff than the middle screen.

I feel like during No Filter you didnt gain anything by being able to see the stage from a distance. Now you do.
Well the pit is still the place to be, but if youre seeing multiple shows, dont be disappointed if youre not in front at some gig.

Lucky the band was fantastic!

Yes.

If your seats are on the side then the middle screen is not optimal view. But you can't always get what you want

I watched the stream last night and liked the stage and the lightning; it has a party-feel, which is appropriate for the 60th birthday bash.

Yeah, it indeed did! I like the new aesthetics, especially the non-linear screens. The darkness and the deep red and blue lights coloring the stage during the show remind me of 1972 tour or something. I have never been such a big fan of their huge, fancy stages of the past with whatever gimmicks (cobras and whatever) of the biggest Cohlian Vegas years, so I welcome this 'no bullshiting' attitude of lately. Also that of not making the hyped 60th Anniversary such a big deal, but more like a business as normal I like. The band's on stage and is one of those nights. That's it.

For me it's the side screens. The shape of them seems off with the border and cladding. I do like the openness of the tongue and it's silhouette.
The stage does come to life at night. Maybe they will adjust the sides for other legs of the tour.

I wasn’t there, unfortunately. From the pictures I’ve seen, it didn’t look good in the daylight, but looked better at night. That said, yes, the sketch looked better than what it really looked like. Everyone I’ve heard from on here loved the band’s performance, which is the most important thing.

Maybe parts of it weren't ready on time? Seems to happen everywhere these days.

Lots of intricacies in that sketch that would have elevated the design to something up to Stones standards - bit's of 3d elements and transformations.
Seems something was definitely lost in translation, or they ran out of time, or they decided on cutting corners - maybe a combination of all those reasons and more.

That could be where some cost cutting measures came in.. although I really like the new stage and was ready for a change from NF. Definitely would want to be in the center though.. It has a little '81 stage feel about it.

Much better than the no filter tour. Looks great in the pics at night.

Only in the sense that the colours are not that bright anymore. I still don't get those pitiful small screens on the side. No Filter was way better.
