Last year in the States I was able to use a friend's LDs at one venue, but at another they said no. (We had bought them to go together, but she couldn't make it to those).
Let's say a friend of mine had bought normal tickets on Wednesday and now also has a pair of Lucky Dips. He gets to the venue on the day of the concert and sees his LD seats are not that great. Informally speaking, would he be able to bestow upon someone else the undesired tickets in exchange for some small compensation?
At every venue I've been to in Europe, yes (and most in the States as well).
Regular sale? I thought Germany regular sale doesn't start until noon?
I did this before, but never ask more than true value. If you dips turn out fine, you can also sell your regulars.

They sent PDF prints of the tickets, which is unusual for LD's, since you still need to pickup the actual tickets on the day at the venue.
So Im wondering in case I cant go myself, would it be possible to just sell the PDF's to someone else and let them pickup the actual tickets?

What you describe will probably work. I've exchanged Dips over the years and it's different at basically every venue. Some they ask for nothing, some they want your great-grandfather's death certificate (slight exaggeration).
In Europe usually more lax than the States.

Last tour here in the US I had LD's for 3 different venues and only one of them asked to see my ID,
The others I just gave my name and they checked their list.

Was going to do Gelsenkirchen.
But changed my mind and am now doing Lyon and Paris, both LD. Only got a single for Paris but I can live with that. Will spend the whole week in France and make a holiday of it

I think what is being sold are the pre-sale tickets. Because the same locations are listed that were for sale yesterday, and "silver pit" and "stehplatz" are not available yet...Quote

Lucky Dips are still plentiful for Lyon it seems, afer over an hour on sale, though unlike Paris, sales are enforced in pairs.

Got tickets for Hyde Park I & II, and LDs for Liverpool, Lyon and Paris
It will be my second time seeing the Stones in concert and the first time I have tickets for multiple shows on the same tour, I wouldn't have gotten them without all the info I read on here, so thank you so much!
