Thanks for posting Cristiano. smileys with beer

Only just seen it and Keith is looking great, loved The Wino's short gig in New York City...............and looking forward to see The Rolling Stones in England as well as Europe.

Hoping you and your great South American friends can make it over here. smileys with beer

My pleasure, crawdaddy!

I'm not yet sure if I'm going, but several friends of mine are planning to go. Let's see what happens. smiling smiley

He said that he stopped smoking cigarettes...
He didn't say anything about weed though.

Yeah, he said he was smoking *more* weed to compensate. He was laughing while
he said it.

Very nice segment, Keith as cool and charming as ever.

One minor quibble - when the voice-over says "Richards has released three albums with the Winos" the screen shows us the covers of TIC, MO, and Live at the Hollywood Palladium. Either include the live album and call it four, or else show the cover of CH instead of the live album.

Drew

But CH is not a Winos album

What do you mean it's not?confused smiley Here's the personnel:

Steve Jordan – drums (2–15), backup vocals (2–7, 9–15), percussion (5, 6), piano (6), congas (7), vibes (11), timpani (11), horn arrangement (15)
Waddy Wachtel – electric guitar (2, 5, 8, 10), acoustic guitar (8), backup vocals (8), slide guitar (14)
Ivan Neville – Hammond organ (6), backup vocals (6), Wurlitzer (15)
Bobby Keys – saxophone (3, 9)
Babi Floyd – backup vocals (11)
Sarah Dash – backup vocals (14)

Drew

I look at the cover and label.

So do I. All three studio albums just say Keith Richards. They don't reference the Winos (except in the notes).

The live album is the only Keith release (excluding Vintage Vinos) that references the Winos on the cover and label.

My point is that you gotta either treat all 3 studio albums as Wino albums, or none of the 3. Can't leave out CH if you're gonna include the other 2. CBS goofed.

Drew

This interview was posted today. Starts with Keith talking about Charlie passing away, then he’s talking about Nellcote.

I’ve only just started listening. Looks like it’s over an hour long

I just listened to the recent (brief) Keith interview on WTF and he said he's been in Jamaica with Mick and Steve making music. In his words it was been "prolific" and they have "more songs than I know what to do with". Take that with a grain of salt I guess, but sounds like there is something in the works or he wouldn't have said that.

Yep, this is the one I was talking about. The interview is only like 15 minutes long, then they play the interview he did with Marc in 2015. It was fun to listen to that one again. I recommend it!

It's nice that it's not a drawn out deal about Charlie. Keep it in the present. Not get bogged down. Keep it in the present, the now. Otherwise there'd be no interview.

And... it is Keith.

Keith's albums are his solo albums. The band is the band. But it's Keith. Not a mistake on the record label.
