Another impossible choice... 2 quintessential songs... but I'll stick with "Let it Bleed," if only to encourage keith to play more slide guitar! He thinks he can't play it, but I love his slashing style.
----------------------------------------------------- Oh, give me the beat, boys, and free my soul I wanna get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
Let it Bleed and Bitch went back and forth, until Let It Bleed finally pulled it out in the end by the narrowest of margins. That's two close ones in a row for Let It Bleed. Well, it doesn't get any easier as Let It Bleed goes for Cage Heaven in its last match up, this time against Rocks Off.
So, what's it going to be? . . . Let It Bleed? Or Rocks Off?

whew...this is a tough one. both have great tempo changes, cool guitar play. I loved LIB from the first time I heard it...Rocks Off has continually grown on me until now I fully appreciate its greatness. I could change my mind tomorrow, but tonight...Rocks Off.
But isn't it sort of a lesser version of "Bitch?" Another barn-burnin' white soul track?
"Let It Bleed" is quintessential Stones sleaze. Those acoustics, that slide...filthy country music with the greatest of grooves. it ranks with anything they ever did.
